Counsilio vs Incontact in Singapore: fees, format and getting started
Start with the appointment you can use, the fee that applies and how you want help finding a counsellor.
Counsilio may suit you if you want personal help finding a counsellor for online support. Incontact may suit you if having a Singapore clinic option matters. Both offer individual counselling in Singapore. The useful comparison is the setting, the proposed counsellor and the applicable arrangement—not a claim that one provider delivers better care.
Publisher disclosure: Counsilio publishes this comparison and is one of the providers discussed. We checked Incontact’s official pages on 18 October 2026 and used Counsilio’s owner-confirmed service information. These are published service arrangements, not independently assessed clinical quality, a personal service trial or a check of current appointment slots.
Compare the actual offer
| Provider | Fee and session length | Setting and starting route |
|---|---|---|
| Counsilio | Long-term sessions from S$80; 50–60 minutes. This starting offer is not a one-off quote. We explain your proposed cost and arrangement during onboarding. Fees and affordability. | Online support with personal onboarding and guided matching.Concerns, preferences, budget and timing inform the match. How it works. |
| Incontact | Published 60-minute counsellor, senior and lead rates: S$200–S$280. A separate counsellor-in-training listing is S$40 for 60 minutes. GST included.Official fee table; these are different tiers. | In-person and online sessions; enquiry by form, WhatsApp or email. The team can help with the counsellor and appointment choice. Official service page. |
Incontact’s fee table includes the training listing even though its summary FAQ starts at S$200. We have kept that distinction visible. Its S$40 listing and Counsilio’s long-term starting offer describe different arrangements. Neither is a universal price for every counsellor or appointment.
Incontact also describes a separate NCSS-supported counselling route with referral and direct-access eligibility pathways. If cost determines whether you can begin, that route may be relevant. Use its actual conditions; eligibility and an available appointment need to be established. Counsilio’s private starting price does not establish public-subsidy eligibility.
How do you want help getting started?
At Counsilio, you can begin without knowing which counsellor to choose. We speak with you, understand your concerns, preferences, budget and timing, then connect you with a suitable counsellor. Quality and matching are our responsibility. We explain the proposed arrangement before you decide, and we listen and help you switch if a match does not work.
Incontact’s booking FAQ says its team can guide the choice of counsellor, duration and appointment time. Its team page also provides practitioner information. Do not assume that a clinic route means you must make every decision alone, or that personal matching takes away your choice.
An invented example: you know you want help with work pressure, but the thought of choosing someone makes you put it off. With Counsilio, you can say, “I’d like help finding someone. I can manage online sessions, and my budget is around S$300 a month.” The team uses that conversation to explore a suitable match. You do not need to send a detailed history or workplace records in the opening message.
The provider should make the proposed counsellor’s relevant background and fit clear. A fee or job title alone does not establish the right match for you. Our guide to understanding a counsellor proposal explains how you can take part while Counsilio retains responsibility for quality and matching. This comparison does not assign practitioner scores or infer qualifications that have not been verified.
Choose a setting you can use for the full session
If home is crowded and there is nowhere you can speak comfortably, an in-person appointment may be more practical. Incontact’s service page lists both formats. Counsilio’s Singapore offer is online; we do not present a clinic appointment as an available Counsilio option.
If travel is the obstacle, online support may be easier to arrange. Incontact’s online-session FAQ describes a link for a 60-minute conversation using Zoom or Microsoft Teams. That is its published process. Counsilio makes the arrangements for your proposed appointment clear through personal onboarding.
Think about an ordinary week. If you finish work at 6pm but still need to get home, a calendar gap at 6.15pm may not be a usable appointment. Include the time you need to reach an appropriate place. Counsilio has after-work slots; the actual appointment is arranged separately. Our after-work guide and online-or-in-person guide can help with these practical choices.
Describe any language or accessibility requirement that matters to you during the conversation. A general service page does not confirm a suitable practitioner and slot for every requirement. We have not turned either provider’s wider website into a promise about a particular person’s availability.
Include timing and appointment changes in the decision
Incontact’s published terms add S$30 per hour for weekday 5–7pm appointments and Saturdays 9am–3pm. They require 24 hours’ cancellation or rescheduling notice; late cancellations and no-shows incur the full fee. Paid sessions must be used within two calendar months of payment.
Counsilio’s cancellation cutoff is 12 hours before a session. That notice period does not establish every refund or payment outcome. We make the applicable arrangements clear during onboarding. Our session-or-plan guide helps separate appointment notice from a wider commitment.
If your work shifts change each week, include that pattern before arranging a time. A lower headline price is not helpful if you cannot attend the actual appointment. You may need a different day, setting or provider. This is a practical fit decision, not a measure of how much either service cares about you.
Take the next step that fits your decision
If personal help with online matching is what you need: start with Counsilio’s enquiry route. Describe the broad concern, what you can afford and a practical requirement. We discuss a suitable proposal with you; contacting us does not confirm an appointment.
If a clinic option or Incontact’s particular service route fits better: use its official service page or the separate supported-counselling information above. Published prices and opening arrangements are not a live slot check.
If you are still choosing between providers, our wider Singapore online-services comparison offers other routes. Once you have arranged an appointment, the first-session guide can help you begin the conversation. It describes general practice, not a fixed procedure for either provider.
A few questions before you start
Do I need to choose a counsellor before contacting Counsilio?
No. Personal onboarding helps us understand your concerns and requirements. Counsilio takes responsibility for the match and makes the proposal clear before you decide.
Does a higher fee tell me which provider is better?
No clinical-quality ranking is established here. The relevant choice includes the actual support, the proposed match, a workable setting and an arrangement you can sustain.
Is opening WhatsApp a confirmed appointment?
No. For Counsilio, the first contact starts an enquiry. Your appointment is arranged separately after the onboarding conversation and proposed match.
For urgent support, use an appropriate public crisis-support route rather than waiting for a routine enquiry.
