Counsilio vs Singapore Counselling Centre: fees and getting started
Which price applies, how do you find a counsellor, and what happens before the appointment?
For individual counselling in Singapore, Counsilio offers personal help with matching for online support. Singapore Counselling Centre (SCC) offers video and in-person appointments, with different fees depending on the booking route. Start with the arrangement you can use and sustain. Counsilio’s long-term starting offer and SCC’s single-session prices describe different commitments.
Publisher disclosure: Counsilio publishes this comparison and is included. SCC information comes from its linked official pages, checked on 22 October 2026; our service details come from owner-confirmed records. This is a practical comparison, with no clinical-quality ranking or claim that we tried either service.
Compare the arrangement, including the booking route

Its standard single-session rates are S$196.20 for a professional counsellor or S$226.72 for a senior professional, including GST. Official fees and booking conditions. | Video or in person. SCC’s lower fee belongs to a particular route
The SCC fee page makes the lower individual rate conditional on booking and paying through Mindlistic. The standard table is a separate offer. It also lists a 5% credit-card processing charge for payments below S$500, so the payment method can affect the total.
Seeing two prices need not mean one is wrong. A search preview may show the standard table while the current page highlights a different route. Use the offer attached to your intended booking. We have not completed a checkout or independently confirmed a final charge.
SCC’s FAQ says a package is optional: you can begin with a single session, with a same-day option to include it in a package. A lower per-session package figure still needs to be considered alongside the amount paid and the usable appointments. Our session-or-package guide explains that decision.
Counsilio’s onboarding includes your budget and what you want from support. We explain the proposed arrangement before you decide. We make the fee and practical arrangements clear as part of that proposal; you remain free to decide whether to go ahead.
How much help do you want with the match?
You may know what has been difficult without knowing which counsellor would suit you. At Counsilio, that is enough to start a conversation. We are a technology platform with personal onboarding: we understand your concern and requirements, take responsibility for quality and matching, and explain the proposed support. You do not need to choose from profiles first. If a match does not work, we listen and help you switch.
SCC’s FAQ describes its practitioners as holding at least a relevant master’s degree in counselling. That is SCC’s published qualification statement; we have not audited individual records or compared clinical outcomes. A provider should explain who is proposed and the care arrangement, without expecting you to infer quality from a price or job title.
A preference can matter without deciding everything. For example, you may want a woman counsellor, a particular language or a way to discuss family expectations. Counsilio’s confirmed Singapore offer includes female therapists; language and other requirements belong in the matching conversation and proposed arrangement, rather than being assumed from this article.
Think about the day you would actually attend
Here is a fictional example. You finish work at six, share a flat, and can protect an hour on Tuesday. An online appointment saves a journey, but you still need somewhere to speak. If that space is unavailable, an in-person option may be more workable. Use our online versus in-person guide to consider the setting.
Counsilio has after-work slots, while a specific time and counsellor still need to be arranged. SCC’s published counselling hours include evenings and weekends; these are service hours rather than a promise of an available appointment. Front-desk hours are different.
A changing work roster also makes notice rules relevant. SCC’s policy requires at least 48 hours’ notice by WhatsApp or email, with acknowledgement by its team. It applies the full session fee to shorter-notice changes and no-shows. Counsilio’s confirmed cancellation cutoff is 12 hours before a session. Notice periods alone do not establish equivalent refunds or payment terms.
Choose a next step that answers your uncertainty
For personal help finding online support: use Counsilio’s homepage and care-team WhatsApp enquiry. A suggested opening is: “I’m looking for individual counselling. I’d like help with a suitable match, and my budget and available evenings matter.” A short outline is enough; you do not need to send records or a detailed personal history. Guided discussion and matching come before the proposed appointment and your decision to proceed.
For SCC’s video or in-person route: start with its current fees and booking page, which separates the available routes. If you need something different from an ordinary individual appointment, the provider needs to establish that arrangement. This comparison does not cover joint sessions, assessments or medical treatment.
Once an appointment is arranged, our first-session guide describes general ways a counselling conversation may begin. For other services, see the wider Singapore comparison. A suitable option may differ from the one with the lowest headline price.
A few questions before deciding
Is this a ranking of the two services?
No. It compares published arrangements and Counsilio’s confirmed offer. We have not measured clinical quality, attended sessions or established which service would suit every reader.
Do I need to pick a counsellor before contacting Counsilio?
No. Counsilio takes responsibility for quality and matching. Start with your concern, preferences and practical requirements, then consider the proposed arrangement.
Does opening WhatsApp confirm an appointment?
For Counsilio, it starts an enquiry. The discussion, match and appointment arrangements follow separately; opening the link does not send a message or book care.
For urgent support, use an appropriate public crisis-support route rather than waiting for a routine enquiry.
